Go for a 3 day gorilla trekking Uganda safari to the misty mountains. You will experience the highlight of meeting the mountain gorillas of Uganda. During your gorilla trek you will walk through the beautiful jungle and spend one unforgettable hour with the mountain gorillas. After the gorilla tracking you leave the mountains to spend the second night by the edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park’s Ishasha sector before returning to Entebbe/Kampala the next day after your 3 days Gorilla trekking in Bwindi, Uganda.
Mountain Gorilla trekking is the bucket list activity that brings many people to Uganda. These great apes are only found in the mountains of Congo, Rwanda and Uganda, to go for a trek to see them is a really exclusive experience. The gorilla groups that are being trekked have been habituated to people and only eight visitors per day are allowed to visit each group.

DAY 1: TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Meet your guide and start off early from Kampala for your 3 days gorilla trekking in Uganda safari, be prepared for a long day in the car. Along the way you will make a stop by the equator for some photos and have lunch in Masaka or Mbarara depending on the time. Continue on through the countryside to Bwindi mountains with a beautiful drive up the hills. We reach the lodge for you to relax before the next days great trekking adventure.
DAY 2: GORILLA TREKKING DAY – BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the home to the forest giants that are cousins to human beings, the mountain gorillas. Have an early breakfast before setting off for your gorilla trekking adventure with a specialized guide. Besides the gorillas this Impenetrable Forest is full of birds, butterflies and plant species plus forest hog, forest elephants, statungas and dikers. Enjoy the walk through the forest and spend one hour around the gorillas. After the gorilla trek your guide picks you and you start the beautiful journey down the mountains, through the neck of the impenetrable forest, past cultivated hills, through villages and on to the lodge at the edge of Queen Elizabeth NP’s southern sector where the second night of your 3 days gorilla tracking safari will be spent.
DAY 3: TRANSFER TO KAMPALA
After breakfast you set off towards Kampala. Have lunch along the way. Get back to Kampala in the late afternoon/evening after meeting the Gorillas of Uganda as we finish your 3-day gorilla trekking in Uganda safari.

Included: Accommodation, meals, safari car, fuel, guide, park entries, gorilla permits (if applicable) and activities mentioned in the itinerary. Plus water in the car and a couple of fruits along the way.
Excluded: International flights, visas, drinks, tips and personal expenses.
Accommodation: In general accommodation mentioned in the itinerary is good places on budget to mid-range level (with the exception of luxury safaris). The accommodation can be adapted to your price range of budget, mid-range or luxury. Of-course a mix is also possible.
Payment options: We accept international bank transfer, card payment through PesaPal (adds 3,5% charge) and cash payment if you are in Uganda.
