DAY 1: PICK-UP IN KIGALI AND TRANSFER TO UGANDA

Meet your guide for the Gorilla trekking in Uganda starting from Kigali and start off from Kigali for your gorilla trekking adventure (if flying in same day plan for a flight arriving at the latest around midday). Cross over to Uganda and continue on to the lodge by the edge of the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth NP. Ishasha is known for its tree-climbing lions, a rare behaviour for these big cats.

DAY 2: ISHASHA GAME-DRIVE AND TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NP

In the early morning we head in to Ishasha to search for tree-climbing lions in the big fig-trees, but also to see buffaloes, elephants, topis and more. After the game-drive we have lunch at the lodge and then make the beautiful drive up to the mountains of Bwindi. A journey that takes us from savanna on to villages, cultivated hills and forest covered mountains.

DAY 3: GORILLA TREKKING DAY- BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK & TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the home to the forest giants that are cousins to human beings, the mountain gorillas. Have an early breakfast before setting off for your gorilla trekking adventure with a specialized guide, the highlight of this gorilla trekking in Uganda starting from Kigali safari. Besides the gorillas this Impenetrable Forest is full of birds, butterflies and plant species plus forest hog, forest elephants, sitatungas and dikers. Enjoy the walk through the forest and spend one hour around the gorillas. After the gorilla trek your guide picks you and you make the journey to Lake Bunyonyi. Here you can relax while enjoying the beautiful scenery (and even take a swim if you manage the chilly water!)

DAY 4: TRANSFER TO KIGALI

After breakfast we leave the lake and drive over to Rwanda headed for Kigali. If flying the same day plan for an afternoon flight.
